“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
― Audre Lord
A selfcare journey
As a woman, you deserve some time for yourself, to pause, to connect with your mind, your heart and to nurture your body and energy.
Yoga and selfcare techniques are extremely powerful used regularly and long term!
We will work with consistency on a 4 to 6 weeks selfcare program, weekly, to integrate new habits, releasing any blockages – with accessible tools.
I will come to your place or to an outdoor environment and guide you in English and/or in French, depending on your preferences.
This program will be tailored to your needs and requests, however keep in my mind that they might evolve. “We don’t know what we don’t know” and you may discover a whole new world through this journey!
– For women dealing with stress, anxiety, panic attacks
– For women struggling with chronic pain (abdominal pain and back pain) or chronic disease (crohn’s disease, fibromyalgia, endometriosis etc.)
– For women who want to improve their overall wellness and have a better understanding of their physical and mental needs
– Breath-centered approach
– Unique and personalised practice
– Adapted to your body, mood and needs
– Simple and accessible techniques
– To use in your busy everyday life
– In English or in French
– Breathing work
– Conscious movements
– Discussion on lifestyle and psychology…
First session: 1h30 assessment
So what will we do during our first meeting?
We will have a chat about your lifestyle, sleep, energy levels, mental and physical health. We will talk about your expectation and needs from this selfcare program.
I will invite you to practice some breathing work and conscious moves to explore and assess what support will suit you the best for the next sessions.
Next sessions: 1h15 nurturing
Depending on your needs, the next sessions will include a selection of tools that suit you the best including conscious movements (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), relaxation, meditation, yoga of sleep (yoga nidra), sounds and chanting, visualisation, forming intentions or discussion about lifestyle and psychology.
For instance, a session may not include any movements but only breathing techniques and deep relaxation.
I will design and co-create a practice that you will be able to repeat in different environment (at home, in your car, queuing at the supermarket…) and in your real life (by yourself or with the kids screaming around!).
